Celebrating Guyanese heritage, connecting generations, and building community across Calgary.
Bringing people together to celebrate, support, and grow.
Honouring our Guyanese heritage and traditions.
Building bridges across generations and across Calgary.
Founded on 25 April 1991, the Guyana Canada Cultural Association (Calgary) is a volunteer-run home for Guyanese people, families, and friends across the city. We host the celebrations that keep our traditions alive, and we show up for each other in between.
Whether you arrived last month or were born here to Guyanese parents, there is a seat at the table for you.
Everything we do is open to the wider Calgary community — bring a friend who has never tasted pepperpot.

Membership runs on our fiscal year, 1 May to 30 April, and keeps the association going. Choose the category that fits your household — every member gets a vote, a voice, and a second home in Calgary.
