Cancellation & Refund Policy
GCCA Calgary aims to provide fair and transparent guidelines for cancellations, refunds and event changes. By registering for any event, attendees agree to the terms set out below.
Applies to all GCCA Calgary events.
If GCCA Calgary cancels an event
A full refund will be given if GCCA Calgary cancels an event due to unforeseen circumstances — weather, venue issues, safety concerns and the like.
Attendees will be notified through our website, by email and/or on social media.
If you cancel
How much is refunded depends on the kind of event and how much notice we have.
Standard events
Workshops, community gatherings and meetings.
- 7 or more days before
- Full refund
- Within 48 hours of the event
- No refund
Special events
Galas, tournaments, catered events and ticketed celebrations. Because these involve pre-paid vendors and fixed costs, the windows are longer.
- 14 or more days before
- Full refund
- 7–13 days before
- Partial refund (50%)
- Within 7 days of the event
- No refund
How refunds are processed
- Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
- GCCA Calgary is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment processors.
